I want to report a 50 year old sexual preditor Robert Linn on Northern Ill. Mr. Linn is a convicted sexual preditor that was just released from prison for sexually molesting a 12 year old girl. Mr. Linn was a member of a Schutzhund group in Norther Ill. the Machtig Strom Schutzhund Verein Club The little girl that was raped was a daughter of one of Mr. Linns club members.

Mt Linn was recently released from spending 3 years in prison - which was several decades short of what his penalty should have been (my opinion).

Mr. Linn recently posted on a Chicago web board that he was interested in starting a new training group. This is exactly how he found his last victim.

Man, 50, charged felony sexual abuse

A Channahon, Ill., man has been charged with felony sexual abuse in connection with an April 5 incident in Moline involving an underage girl he met through a local dog club.

Robert G. Linn, 50, was charged in Rock Island County Circuit Court this week with felony counts of Class 1 criminal sexual assault and Class 2 aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

According to court records, he's accused of having sexual intercourse with the female victim, who is between the ages of 13 and 17, at a Moline motel.

The charges claim Mr. Linn took advantage of his position as vice president of the Machtig Strom Schutzhund Verein Club to have sex with the girl who also was a member.

Lt. Jerome Patrick said Mr. Linn was arrested Tuesday while he was working at Global Logistics in Bensenville, Ill. He was booked by Bensenville police and released on $20,000 bond.

Mr. Linn was convicted of his crimes.

After serving 10 years in law enforcement and having run for sheriff (and lost )in the county I live in I will tell you that people like Linn disgust me. They make me sick to my stomach!!! I don't believe a sexual preditor is EVER cured. They are a festering blight on a community.

I refuse to believe that this was a one time event. Thi is not the case of a 18 or 20 year old kid with an underaged girlfriend. This is a 50 year old sexual preditor that hunts little girls. How this puke is walking the streets is amazing to me.

Today - after learning of this I checked our files and saw that Robert Linn has been a previous customer (before going to prison) He has bought under his name and his wifes name. I have informed my secretaries we will not accpet any orders from this piece of garbage (or his wife)

If he is still on probation his probation officer could be notified that he is attempting to start a club it is usually a condition of their probation that they stay away from areas/activities where children will be present. Scary <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

These kind of people are everywhere. While I was out walking the dog today, I was fortunate enough to come across a petition drive booth to get Jessica's Law (Jessica Lunsford from Florida) on the ballot in California for stricter control and punishment of sexual predators. While we may hear now and then about these things going on in various places, they may not seem to be a problem in your area. Go to the site for Jessica's Law here and read the "Quick Facts". While 20% of these a-holes are out here with me in California, you might just have a few of the other 400,000 close to you.

Unfortunately, Illinos has inconsistent laws regarding sex offenders. It is against the law for a registered sex offender to live within 1000 ft of a park or school, however, a registered sex offender can go to a park or other facility where children are present as long as the park or facility are not exclusively for the use of children. I am a police officer in the state and I deal with this garbage all the time. I personally am inclined to agree with Mr. Frawley that these "offenders should be permanently incarcerated or better yet executed. The recidivism rate of these individuals is in the high 90 percentile and the victims are damaged for life.

Maybe everybocy knows, but if not, you can go to National Sex Offender Registry, put in your address, & a map of all reg offenders in your area will come up. You can then click on the "offenders" flag & get the details/pictures
I too, do not believe these people deserve a 2nd chance in society. If they are "rehabilitated", fine, they can sweep the floors in prison until they rot. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

He competed at Mid Central Regionals in October 05 with a Schh2 dog according to the latest USA magazine....and then again in November at schh3 level - both times at Machtig Storm - the same club where he found the little girl...

I just saw that. Since Sch USA is actually trying to get their "youth program" going, is there some way they could legally ban him from competion/training with club, or does it not even legally matter because of Illinois law?

I would think the club itself could though...especially given the fact that it happened at that club
