Does anyone know where to buy this type of kennel in the united states? I think it has a cleaner look than priefert and magnum but I can't find a dealer. If the link does not work it is a kennel made from vertical galvanized bars. There is a horizontal bar for support in the middle of the vertical bars. It is not welded wire mesh.

I'll see if I can find someone that sells it, if you beat me to it, please send me a PM with a location - my home owners association would kill me for putting up a chainlink kennel in the back yard, they're picky about the material of any fence type structures, but that looks nice enough and matches the fence they're putting up in a few days so well I'd get away with it

thanks a lot. the gold series is more like what i want but it is only 5ft in height, i have to have 6ft. if all else fails i will most likely use the welded wire mesh like the platinum series. i just thought the vertical bars had a cleaner look and offered more visibility. I am about to build a house and would like my new setup to be real neat and professional looking. I have been compiling photos of kennel setups i like for ideas. If you don't mind, PM me pics of your setup.

I would actually prefer the opposite, 4ft height with a roof over it so the dogs can't jump out and it doesn't appear like too huge of a structure... I like the gold series better too though, looks cleaner and less likely to cause problems with the HOA if it's visible from outside my property.
I'm kinda debating wether I should go with an outdoor kennel though, it takes away from limited back yard space, which isn't a huge deal since there's plenty of remaining space. I guess my theory was that when I have 2 dogs, it might be nicer to have em share a (divided) 5x15ft outside kennel on nice days instead of sitting in a crate staring out the window when I'm out for whatever reason. I'd considered just sticking the dogs out on the pool deck since it's screened, I know my GSD will be fine out there, but other than a crate, I can't seperate my pup from my GSD, n when she's older, I'm worried about her jumping in the pool or destroying the screen doors. Perhaps I'm thinking about it too much, maybe sticking em in a crate in the bedroom is no different to them than an outside kennel? Maybe both are equally boring.

I have a co-worker that can weld. He's going to cost out the materials and see which will be cheaper.
Due to my location and shipping, i will most likely buy the priefert version of the option plus kennel. We have a home building store in my town that sells priefert items. i would rather 5x15 also vs 10x10. the dogs will exercise themselves more with a rectangular shape. i can also get a 10x10 magnum kennel for $329 at Lowes.Oh well back to the drawing board. Thanks for the help and info.

Angela, How long have you had your kennel? Is it rusted? I have a platnum 10x10x6 kennel that I purchased 2 years ago from options plus & it was rusted within a couple of months. I was told that they had a curing problem with the paint & they sent me another kennel & it rusted within the same amount of time. The quality of the kennel is great. It is very strong & sound as far as that is concerned but it looks terrible!!! I was very disappointed when this happend with the second kennel & the only response that I received from Options plus about the rust issue was....that they sent me a another kennel at no charge. That's fine, but it still is an eyesore in my back yard. It looks like it is 20 years old. Fortunately, I have a 6 foot stockade fence around the sides & back of my yard so that it is not seen from outside the yard. I don't know if there is a similar issue with the silver kennels. So good luck if you buy from them.

Just for anyone in the UK. This canine kennels lot are quite good. They also have a sister company called canine leathers which sells all manner of nice equipment (I can vouch for the leather utility lead and sprenger prong collar)

I've had mine almost a year and the only rust spots I have are at the front since they get more water, etc than the rest does when being hosed down.
