So far I've been able to avoid boarding my dog but I have a feeling that some trips in Spring may make it unavoidable, at least for three or four days at the most. I would appreciate any recommendations you Northwoods folk on the board (and anyone else) may have around good boarding kennels in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro...Annie's six months, great disposition, etc.
Any input any board members may have on what I should look for in general would also be appreciated.
Any board members who want to play with a kick-butt sweet dog and a fat cat in a nice home right off the parkway in Mpls (with HDTV and cable, even!) are welcome to come on up. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Again, this is not my ideal, but I may not have any other choices once my and my wife's schedules shake out.
One thing that I like about Red Star is that they have photo's of their kennel on their website, it's nice to be able to see the boarding area before hand.
I wish more kennels did that.
Great input, everyone. I have to admit I am nervous about the dog switching over to the curds and Leinie's diet in Hudson. As long as she does not come back rolling over onto her back in submission if I say "Favre" I will be happy.
Connie, yup, we actually have a great lady who works at our vet and lives close by whom I've had interacting with Annie since she was very young. I just wanted some input in case we needed some type of boarding...I'm not really comfortable with the idea of putting the dog (at her age) somewhere else for a few days, but I may not have a choice.
