I have a 19 month old gsd whose pedigree is from the United All Breed Registry. Has anyone heard of this before. I didn't register my dog since I am not breeding him and it just wasn't important to me, I am just curious.
From my understanding, you don't need to have existing papers on your dog. If it looks similar to a particular breed, I think that organazation will take your money and register the dog.
Elliot,
That pedigree and registration from that organization is evey bit as valid as if you write out your own in crayon on the back of a piece of cardboard.
Beware of breeder's who use these type of documents - they're not being ethical and should be avoided at all costs.
