John Thomson Webboard User Reg: 12-28-2004 Posts: 43 Loc: Offline	Hi , I posted a couple of weeks ago regarding Diesels nose bleed. Finally got bi-opsy results from Glasgow University today. No Cancer,no fungal infection, the dog has suffered a severe allergic reaction to something he has sniffed. No course of treatment at the moment ( the dog is 100% OK). If it happens again most likely treatment is a course of Pregnisolone steroids. Thanks to all who took the time to answer my original post. Both dogs had a morning walk, on leash,the same route we take each day at around 8am. The bleeding started at 11am when both dogs were sleeping in the house. The University think it's best not to give him any treatment unles it happens again, at which point they will do allergy tests, another CT scan and treat whth steroids. I have had Shepherds for over 25 yrs and have never come across anything like this......hope it's at least 25 yrs before I do again.
