Rosie, my seven year old ACD on the left, and Mal, my nine week old Malinois on the right. This is my first Malinois and I'm enjoying the challenge. Rosie's a good worker but Mal is in a whole different world. WOW! Let the pantleg shredding begin. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e122/jules267/dogpics.jpg
Thanks for sharing your pic. I love ACDs (well Mals to of course). ACDs are definately a different kind of dog that's for sure. We used to have a red one. She was awesome! She'd learn just about anything in under 20 mintutes... we used to say that if she had thumbs she'd have taken the car Actually, we even trained her to be the ring bearer at our wedding . Wierd I know, but it was an interesting challenge to train for. Mals are very cool to, but a completely different ball of wax. Good luck with them both... enjoy your pantlegs while they last

I love how the mal is climbing that wood pile (NO problem). What a cutie. What are your going to do with him (Sch...ring...ppd...anything, everything)?
Those are some beautiful dogs. My preacher has a ACD, and it will do anything he tells him to from going and getting the kids to getting drinks out of the fridge. They are very smart dogs.
Mal has to climb everything as you can see. Before I put the plastic back on, he was running back and forth on top of the pile. As far as training, we'll have to wait and see. His grips are very good, he's working the sent pad well and his ob is average. But he is only 9 wks.
Actually, I'm leaning towards police k-9. But I'm not ruling anything out. I like ASR but there's nothing around me. Not much interest in the dog sports in general really.
