I have a yorkie age 1 and a GSD 14 wks. I am having issues with them getting along. Most of the day they do however, there are times where my GSD goes over to her to play and his way of playing is too rough. Even on walks with the both of them the GSD tries the same thing. We consistently tell them both "no", and correct them but it is not working. My yorkie is to the point now when he even comes close to her she'll growl. My yorkie has always gotten along with dogs fine and is actually a very quiet dog. Any suggestions?
If I were a Yorkie, I would not appreciate being"played" with by a 14 week old GSD either. It reminds me a bit of when my Samoyed pup "played" with my cat by seeing how much of her head he could fit in his mouth. If was a game for him, not for her. I would walk them seperately until the pup learns to listen carefully to you.
