Thanks for replying..... Are there no Boxer breeders in Australia that believe their dogs are capable of performing in this sport? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
I am as confounded by dogs as I am indebted to them. Roger Caras
Ben I live n the states so I'm not that familiar with Boxers down under. Richard Tomita wrote a book called The World of the Boxer. It has a section on Australian boxers and kennels. Maybe you could get a copy of it and contact some breeders from there?
Ben, Just got onto this Forum, a couple of months after you posted. To my knowledge there is a mixture of breeding lines in Australia, some from England, others from Italy, or other European countries. (Forget about the imported American boxers) When looking for a suitable breeding line, all you need to do is research the 5 generation pedigree. There are 62 dogs in the 5 generation pedigree, if the majority of them have been titled in VPG or IPO, and the 4 grand parents have been titled, you may be able to get a working puppy from such a litter.
