Will, Mark makes a very good product and can custom to you vehicle or your dimension. Yeah the price is high, but the quality is great, figure this will be the last crate you have to buy. Alot of club memembers have these crates. Maybe I can find the pics of the crate a club memember has after his SUV flipped 4x..other than beinng bent and dented a bit(dog was fine)...it is still useable.
They are really really really NICE!!! Not much of a "fancy" or expensive look guy but I sure wouldn't mind owning one of those for Abi.
Dan,
I could easily pick up a single crate and place in the van by myself, they're maybe 60 - 75 lbs. max.
They're worth the peace of mind, I've seen Fetz bash his way out of a 500 airline crate and I had to do this as a safety measure for training at the club.
Better safe than sorry, plus these type of crates increase your dogs survival rate in case of a car crash, a big bonus in my eyes.
Carolyn, no decals......I resisted the urge to have flames painted on the side of the crate.....
Man, thats cool Will. Let me know how you like it. Thinking about putting a camper shell on the back of my truck and see about getting the crates put in back. don't know if I can muster up room for two though.

and these will be with me a long time
I thought about you this weekend. Saturday morning I went and trained with Jerry Bradshaw and he went to put on some scratch pants that looked familiar to me and then he commented these were his first scratch pants he ever owned. Someone asked where did you get these from and he matter of factly said, Paul Horton, LOL I thought about you and said, you know it's like Will Rambeau says, "That man doesn't make equipment he makes family heir looms". Anyways that comment made me think about that.
