Am helping my trainer to find a good vet to do collection and storage of semen from one of his dogs. There was an earlier thread where SuperiorVets was mentioned, but their web site is gone and I couldn't find them on the web.
If anyone has a recommendation for around Chicago or just about anywhere in the midwest, please post or PM me.
The dog is a 6-7 year old Mali with great bloodlines who has his French Ring II and is working on his French Ring III. He's back after working as a patrol dog for several years. He may not be the best points dogs, but his seriousness and agression are at the high end of the bell curve and he wants to make sure he has access to his genetics in future.
The Stillwater Vet Clinic in Stillwater MN will collect the dog and store the semen. I transferred my frozen for Natan Busecker Schloss to them several months ago. I dont know about Chicago.

It is about 17 miles north of Chicago. I am not sure if they perform the service but they can point you to the right place in the Chicago area. It is one, if not the most, advanced veterinary facilities in the country. My best friend who is now wrapping up his 3rd year of Vet school was a Vet Tech there for about 5 years. I am sure they are expensive though. I actually designed their website a few years ago, but is not up anymore - oh well. They actually perform organ transplants and do chemotherapy on pets.
