It might seem easier to try not to think about our service people in harm's way, but there are many, many families who can think of almost nothing else. We own them our support and thoughts and encouragement. Thanks. We shouldn't need the reminder, but better that we have it.

We lost a Deputy here three weeks ago.
A frantic and intense search for the suspect resulted in his apprehension in Juarez Mexico.

Ed, Thanks for posting that link again, & Kevin I'm so sorry for the loss of a wonderful officer. I think that seeing these posts really humanizes & unites us regardless of our politics.

The numbers...115 officers already this year who have lost their lives....and Ed thank you for sharing the photos. It reminds us of all the blessings we have and the sacrfices others have made for us.

Thank you for posting, but I was unable to finish all of it due to the fact that my brother who served his country in Viet Nam just lost his battle with lung cancer brought on by his exposure to agent orange. It developed in his liver and he died this past Thursday. Thank you for sharing a tribute he would have enjoyed.
