My account was banned for a short period, I was only on for a few days, and I was not told why. I called the office and Stephanie checked with Ed who also did not know why so I am back on.
I started using the suggestions by Ed Frawley from the in home aggression thread and so far so good. Bruno stays in his crate unless I am home. Sometimes my wife will let him out to go to the bathroom, like there's a doggy bathroom outside LOL, then put him right back into his crate. The first night I used Ed's advice was a rough one. Thursday night Bruno WOULD NOT go into his crate. After about 10 minutes of corrections, and a little push at the end, he went in. I gave him his food and he ate after calming down. No real growling at this point. Later in the evening I put him on a leash and allowed him to lay at my feet until we went to bed. I told him "crate" and with a little help he reluctantl went in. The next morning I took him out to pee, then put him back in the crate so I could go to work. NOT A PEEP or RESISTANCE! Since that morning he goes into the crate with no problem! I keep a milk bone in my hand and lay it down in the crate as he goes in then shut the door. It seems if I tell him Good Boy he'll somtimes grumble after I shut the door. At this I do nothing as I understand this should be a safe comfortable place, if wrong please let me know. Anyway, I'm back on and have many question about many issues.
