I have kind of diferrent question. I would love to visit some of the well known, experienced trainers to actually attend their training. I know that this is kind of strange, but that is the best way to learn, capture and train. I am very visual. I have couple of dvd's from here.I was thinking sometime this fall, somebody in Seattle, or Oregon, Portland or something in reasonable distance, I live in Idaho, Boise and I still have to work <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />. Would there be somebody willing to teach me? More to understand better dog behaviour and handling dog properly, than just teach basics.
We are at blind search-totally beginning, got hold and bark down pretty good, very little obedience a pretty good tracking. My pup is going to be 8 mos old in couple of days, and he is such a fast lerner that I am pretty amazed. Very little almost no correction.. well he does not really listen to anybody else but me, but that is just the pack order.
Would there be somebody willing to meet with me to maybe get imput, and teach me something new? My club is great, people are absolutelly wonderfull, the only thing is I like to learn a lot and broad spectrum. I like to have fun not just be strictly Schutzhund/Sport dog. I like to teach building search, bacics of PP. The liability is just huge. that is the reason I would love to do this with somebody who got experience and knows the "rules" of safety
