I put this one in Puppy Training too ! SORRY! I am planning on using Honest Kitchen for my puppy. It sounds great and easy to make. I was wondering what I should add to it though? Do I put Kelp and Alfalfa And Salmon Oil , etc. ? She will be 8 weeks old is that too much for her? What and How much meat do I add to it

I use it for backup to a raw diet, and have friends who use it for their main (everyday) food.
My take is that I do add RMBs and/or meat, and this amount is directed on the package of each formula. So do the others I know who use it.
It contains flax for short-chain Omega 3 EFAs, but I like to use salmon oil for long-chain Omega 3s (which come in marine products). Other than that, I believe from reading their ingredients carefully that it's a complete food and doesn't need other supplements for a healthy normal dog without allergies. If you do decide to use salmon oil as well, my own feeling is that I'd add some Vitamin E. (The dog's system uses E in processing oil supplements.)
So I add RMBs, salmon oil, and E.
Cindy Easton Rhodes uses THK too, and on the Leerburg site where they sell it, it says you can email her with questions.
I think you'll be very happy with it. I sure am; I didn't have a food to use as backup for travel and empty-freezer days (that you can safely add RMBs to) until Cindy discovered THK.
