I was wondering if anyone here can provide me with any information on this dog. From what I can gather he is now here in Australia with Von Forell Kennels but hasn't had any litters yet.
His sire is the famous Stormfront's Brawnson while his dam is Tara v. Wildenbruch who I believe is (correct me if I'm wrong) "the most titled bitch in America".
I think there has already been enough discussion on this board about Brawson but has anyone had any personal experience with Tara, Tara's progeny or Pongo himself. Better yet does anyone know or own any of Pongo's progeny. I would be very interested to hear any comments.
I am new to this forum and saw your post. I have "met" Pongo. I know his former owner. I have a Pongo "son" who is 18 months old. He has good prey drive and I have just ordered a video from Leerburg Kennels on building his defensive drive. My dog is a good dog, my vet told me his confirmation was "perfect" and that he should be on the cover of a german shepherd magazine for whatever that is worth. He is a good looking dog great with my kids and I am looking forward to seeing how he works out.
The website you linked is actually in a thread in the Crooked Kennels forum...you might want to do a search on the forums (I typed in von forell, older than 1 week newer than 1 year) and look into that.

Oh I got her on the sleeve but there isn't enough hours in a day anymore. She's got all the Bh obedience wired tight and we go thru it every time we go to the park which I do with the kids, I belonged to Sch club that I just quit, great bunch of guys but I couldn't really contribute the time needed to make a club succesful. Right now she's got a collection of cute doggy tricks, She'll search for her ball when I hide it in a room, Dancing dog, Bark and Hold, also alot of agility stuff, the kids at the park like the up the ladder, down the slide stuff. most of that stuff you can do by yourself but you really need a club to help train the protection aspect of it.
Hi Brendan, I don't know much about Von Forell except what I've read about it on this forum... Kris Kotsopoulous & vonforell.com in Austrailia, check it on the search. I hate to discourage you buying a dog from there, since I know next to nothing(except what I've read here). Hope this helps you with your decision.
