Dear Friends,
I have a Golden Retriver who is 5 months old.She is really cool and friendly in a day time. But after 8 or 9 PM she becomes quite and sits in corner. If we go near her and try to touch her then she growls. She shows her teeth as if she will bite.We really get scared and avoide to tuch her at this time.
This also happens in day time when she is eating. If we try to add extra food when she is eating in her bowl she growls or probably bites.Again it also happens when she is chewing bone and we go near her.She bit me once and my son who is 12 years old and who is her best friend.
Please help and advice since this is the only negative point she has or we love her too much.We really need to work this out since we are scared to love her when we feel.

You need to set the rules by building a proper foundation. Listen to the article
I also recommend getting Ed's "basic dog obedience vid 302", and "Dealing with Dominant and Aggressive Dogs vid 301".
The dog is still a pup and I'm assuming that you will be able to get her back on track. Don't wait till it's too late, cause then, only a professional can help.
