I'm a little concerned about her drive, she seems a little bit too laid back. I hope it is because she is young. born 6/4/06. Can anyone tell me if its normal for a German Shepherd to be very timid as a puppy?

Her father is a great protection dog, and was featured on a show called "The Pulse". I am waiting for pedigree papers from the breeder, then I can post more about her. I plan to use Eds videos and advice to get the most out of her. I also intend to document our progress on a website.
