Hi all,
My dobe loves knuckle bones so she gets one a week; seems to keep her out of trouble. But as usually, I'm paranoid about everything....is one a week safe for her? Is that too many? Any advice is appreciated.

RAW knuckle bones are fine for dogs. Just be sure you supervise the gnawing and watch for broken off pieces or if they become too small and there is a chance of swallowing them. Also, bones dry out very quickly, so unless you soak it in water in the 'fridge overnight for the next day, I would throw it away after one day's chewing. If you decide to give marrow bones, scoop out as much of the marrow as you can because it is very rich and can give your pupper the squirts. Just remember that these are recreational bones and not a part of their diet if you feed raw.
