Here is the temporary location of the stream for the 1986 German Bundessieger - German Schutzhund Championship.

The young girl paired with Helmute Raiser is Claudia Romard - her new married name - she now lives in the states and married Steve Romard. Claudia took 2nd place in this year Schtzhund USA Nationals.

thanks so much for posting this video. I have it on tape, but I had not seen it in a looooong time, so it was very weird to see myself young and juicy on the screen. Yeah, yeah the good old times. Can you believe that this is 20 years ago ?! BTW I just got the DVD from the Nationals, now I can see both OB routine side by side . I will probably have to get drunk to face that sight !!

At this BSP in Kassel, I was indeed a teenager with sweet 17 and Munja (who is by the way Bandit van Goghs Mom) was 2 and a half. We were the youngest team qualified for the BSP through the "adult" world for a long time. I was so unexperienced and new to the sport that I did not even know who Helmut Raiser was, it just blew my mind when I showed up at the obedience field and there were so many people around. I was very nervous anyway, but after seeing such a crowed I just wanted to go home. But as you could see Munja helped me out (with the jumps) by filling some holes and thinking a bit on her own ...... good girl !!

Steve and me were talking about Munja after the Nationals and he asked me to compare Munja and Yara. That was really hard for me because often you idolize your old dogs. Now that I saw her again alive and kicking though, I see that Yara indeed has a similar spirit. Now I only hope that she will also produce like that good old girl !!
