As I was bagging up necks, hearts, livers and backs for the freezer I got to thinking......You guys can add to it if you want, these are just some of the things that are happening to me more often and I think it is a HOOT.
You go to the meat locker to order your fresh Christmas Turkey and they bring out two buckets of necks, backs organ meat and ask you if you want it.....
The meat cutter says, "Hey, I left a present on your porch" and you come home to a 55 gallon rubbermaid can full of RMB's and recreational bones......
The grocery store calls you and says, "We have some produce that is not sellable, do you want to go through it before we dump it?"......
Your yard looks like you unearthed a boneyard because your cutting up deer and elk carcass for the freezers......
You have to run to town to get more saws all blades for the carcass cutting.....
You open the freezer and find eyes staring back at you.....
You wonder how you can incorporate something new and have to do mathematical figures to find out how much to start with.....
You have a GNC gold card but you don't take supplements.....
You e-mail Connie Sutherland at least one a week.......hee hee
Your husband or wife is putting a plate of food together and you say "DON'T EAT THAT!!!!, it's dog food."
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
You guys are too much,
But I have to admit I have been at the grocery store and get excited at their meat sales and load up the cart with all kinds of meat for the dogs and you get home put everything away, your freezers are full your fridge is full from the meat you plan on giving that night/day cause with 4 dogs it's quiet a load and when your kids and husband ask you what's for diner that night, you answer OOPS, I forgot to get stuff (meat mostlikely) for us but I sure got lots of meat for the dogs!I cannot tell you how many times I've done that.Well it's called :call OUT and pick up diner at Pei wei.

I'm quoting Jamie Fraser from another thread. During the first few weeks of the switch your dogs are healthier, happier, yet "extra extra annoying this morning." Sorry Jamie, it was too good to pass up!
