My uncle is a vet and the one who bought dog as gift for my sons and he gave me a tube of gel to put in eyes for a week or so to see if it clears up. After another look yesterday he is saying he may need to bring him in and check tear ducts. Is there any great concern here? Is this a common GSD thing or a random dog issue? He says that pups are constantly getting into things and getting dust, dirt, etc. in their eyes and the tearing is just nature's cleaning. Of course you should check it out if you're concerned, but just so you know it doesn't mean that it's definitely something bad!

If your uncle is a vet then your all set. Those who would give up essential freedoms for the temporary feeling of safety deserve neither!!
