Aside from this gem of a quote I like how he says that he will instruct you not only on the places that he found drugs during the search but places that he DID NOT find the drugs. 1) Obviously they were found if he is going to discuss it and 2) Don't you think that interdiction training has by now covered these hidden areas that this numbnut could not find the drugs in?

isnt he breaking the law by providing operational info on the law enforcement, encorege ppl (maybe minors) to break the law, use drugs and deliberately providing to outlaws sesitive info that he got during hes service???
ithink that here in israel that called deliberately damage the security of the state.
ithink that he can be pot in jail for along time by doing so (atleast here)...
allthou if he was areal smuggler and not an x leo iwhould consider buying hes dvd to get info on the other side tacnuiks...

He is not alone. I know a number of officers who support the legalization of prohibited drugs. It comes down to logistics and the revolving door criminal justice system. It is very frustrating and easy to throw your hands in the air and say "screw it, make it legal and tax it". To me it goes against everything I believe in. I will tell you though that it gets old arresting the same people sometimes as much as 10-15 times and seeing them do the same thing. Some of our 'Citizens" have been arrested 50 times or more for the same offenses and continue on their merry lifestyle until the next arrest. Crazy.

It's no different than canine officers or former canine officers that do consultation work for defense lawyers. There is a market and they are trying to cash in on it. As for telling folks about where to hide stuff. Well, it's known that drug cartels use drug detector dogs, bore scopes etc, in attempts to defeat interdiction efforts. It's our job to stay one step ahead of them. I do agree with Howard. The worst part is having to deal with the same scrotes, time and again. I learned long ago, you can't take it personal. You do your job, and don't worry about what everyone else is doing. I can't say how effective this moron is, however I can say all our stats continue to go up. Geez, I just hope they never hear about hiding drugs in coffee.
