The Golden Doodles are bad enough. Crazy high energy and hectic like hell! I guess with breed bans, cash, and the hope for popularity and fame from creating a new breed is too tempting for these >ahem-ahem< "breeders" to pass on.

How about a "Palibull"? A cross between a Malinois and a Pit Bull?
We can just call them "Pals"......
These dogs have both drive and grip and make wonderful family pets. They are also protective of your children and even when you are disciplining your child the dog will grab your child by the neck and run away from you with it. No one will ever think of entering your yard with a Pal. Since the breed is new there is a one time introductory fee of $1000 and since the police shoot these dogs quite regularly asking questions later (because they just do not understand the breed), we will replace your next Pal for $500. We will place these dogs with ANYONE and the dumber the handler the better.
OKAY that is out of my system AND just to CLARIFY, it is a JOKE
The designer breeds need to go away IMHO.
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
Well it does not help out in Calif. all the movie stars and what not buying them. Hell, I just saw a couple weeks ago a young actress that has a dog with no front legs! and she is so proud of it.
Don't get me wrong I love animals but there is a time to say this needs to be put down. Sad to say this is not the only one out there.

I am sorry, but I find the people that fall into these set traps of "breeders" offering "designer dogs" at $650 and up is just sad in my opinion.
These people that want a mutt (SUCK it up!!! Thats what they are!)should head up to their local shelter, there are a tonne of designer dogs up there just waiting for a good home. And you can get them for half the price!
Brilliant Carol... brought a tear to my eyes, so well said
I met a puggle puppy (pug/beagle lol) whose owners had imported from the US for an exorbitant price. They actually SEARCHED for puggle breeders. I just don't get it...
Some crosses you can almost say "yea, ok" to like the Coursers (Grey Hound X Shepherd) some of the Brits came up with for rabbit control, some of the flyball people are experimenting with crosses, got some people doing Malinois X GSD but those are folks tryng to improve the working ability of the dog. But the fasion designer mutts are just plan silly
I've got my own "designer". She is a cross between a Rottie, a Shepherd, and a Bull-Mastiff... I call her a "L;fyuapdryiobv"!!
I remember getting in an argument in the petstore a few years ago over a "full breed" Boston Terrier. They were charging $1,200 for it and the ex-GF wanted one. So I said to the guy, "for 12K it comes w/ papers and is pure bred, right?"
He says, "Well it's actually what we call a full breed."
Of course I reply, "What's that?"
Him: "Well both the parents were pure bred, but, there may have been some other kind of breedeing in the bloodline of the parents."
Me: "So what you're telling me is that you are basically charging $1,200 for a mutt?"
At that I was almost banned from the store! And guess how much sleep I lost over it.
650$ is bad enough, but some of these mutts (of unknown parentage!! breeders often have secret ""recipes"") go for 7000-8000$!!!
You could buy several purebred working shepherds from the best pedigrees that come with guarantees for that price!
Heck, I could adopt out the entire local shelter and start selling those dogs as "super secret designer" dogs and make a living from it. Clearly there is no lack of idiots in the world
Oh I forgot to mention, my (palm keyboard now) is fixed, but for a small fee + shipping & handling of course, a shed hair sample can be sent to any destination for cloning!!
