...how long does it take your dogs to get the filling out? I have a 7 mo. old cockapoo, and I bought him a smaller Kong but he gets the filling outta there so fast! I thought this Kong would be something that keeps him entertained for a lot longer. He's got that thing hollowed out in 5 minutes or less. So far I've put peanut butter and cream cheese inside of it? Any other suggestions...maybe freezing it with peanut butter would make it last longer??? Maybe i'm not even using it right! I don't know!!

Do you just fill it with Peanut Butter? Or do you put other items in there like kibble or broken up dog biscuits.
If you put items in there that he will have to work at to get out, it will last longer...and definately freeze it, that always helps.
I use the natural balance meat roll stuff (I forget the actual name of it)cut that up into chunks and shove that in there too.
It doesn't take Tucker too long to get everything out, even if it's frozen, but about 1/2 an hour.
I put biscuits in ours. My GSD would bite the Kong and break the biscuits, take their paws and turn the Kong so the pieces will fall out. No problem. I had a collie/golden mix, he never could get the biscuit out, but he could do a number on the peanut butter.
Peanut butter, broken up and whole treats, then freeze. great for when you get home from work and the dog is hyper(glad to see you) let's them relieve the stresses of being in the crate while you were at work. This is what works for me!
I hate Kongs; I used to fill them with peanut butter for my dogs but got so frustrated trying to clean them out.
Eventually I got so mad that I threw the damn thing in my yard and started kicking at it in anger.
Needless to say, my puppy had a lot of fun with the whole situation, and chased the kong around as I kicked it. I threw out the kong though; got smelly and slimy and didn't want to waste anymore time trying to get it clean.
