is there anyone from long island on the board?
i don't have a dog by my friend does and i'm amazed at her training.(nothing formal,but the dog is at her side 24/7 and listens)
she wants to do bitework the pup is a yr old now,has done a few sessions as a pup but then there were personal problems and she couldn't get the dog to a trainer.
she will be training now with LIpd k9(psa club).the dog is gorgeous ,i know she wants to breed her. and i can't wait because i will be taking a pup from this female,for sure.
just asking because she can't find a "good enough" stud dog for "her girl". so i'm trying to give her a hand and ask about anyone on here having a stud,bl/tan or solid black,she wants conformation to be EXCELLENT, (that's why she's having a problem i think) woring lines only.well if anyone knows of a dog like this don't hesitate to e me.
the female is 14mths right now will be pre-limed at 18-19 mths.

Tom, I wonder, if it's possible (technologically speaking) if you rename your thread. It doesn't give anyone any idea of what your post is really looking for. You might get more answers that way.
Also, I'm not qualified to answer your questions but those who are and post will probably respond with more questions than answers, i.e. is your friend a breeder? If not, why is your friend wanting to breed her female, yada, yada? If you rename the thread, I'd add those details too. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

i just wanted to tell people that i am on here,where i live,long island.don't have a dog, but my friend does.
she doesn't believe or have time for these boards so i figured i'd ask about a stud on the island. no she has never bred a litter, but i know she wants to with this female.
i do believe she already has as many as 3 people waiting for pups out of this female.but she won't do any breeding until her hips are ofa'd and she is trained. PSA sport
she has had 5 gsd in the past 15 yrs and did not breed any.so i know she isn't just breeding to breed.thanx Tom
