Dear fellow forum members,
I'm working on a project for my "Introduction to Social Policy" course at my local college. My topic, "Disaster Relief: Canada's role from an international perspective", has all the goverment speak it needs, and I thought it would be cool to add what various SAR K9 units think of Canada's SAR K9 teams, good or bad. Because K9 SAR units have contributed so much to national and international disasters, I feel a little acknowledgment is long overdue.
All responses will be kept confidental, and I welcome both positive and negative feedback.
Oh, and forgive me moderators if I posted this in the wrong section-I couldn't find "general conversation" (I'm sure I was looking right at it) nor a "search and rescue" forum.
My outline is due at month's end, so anything before then would be MUCHO appreciated!
Where are you from? Since the Vancouver USAR team from Canada landed at Katrina faster than most American teams and helped out the hardest hit areas of New Orleans, how would you rate us?
