Yep, I also enjoyed this little bit of info:
"Placer County animal control officers have gone to Artest's five-acre estate seven times in that period in response to callers' complaints about dogs being loose or not being fed."
Seven times. What is wrong with that guy?
or:
"Artest has had as many as seven dogs on his property, but at least two have been killed and others have been sent to live in Indiana, he told the newspaper."
Well, maybe with any luck, the fact that these poor dogs were associated with a "famous" animal abuser will actually help them in that they'll receive more media coverage than the poor dogs mistreated by the average piece of garbage down the street. Hopefully this additional media coverage will help find them new homes.
Maybe this rat should own snakes. Don't they eat once every 2 years? Maybe feeding something once every two years is something this callous simpleton could actually handle.

Nope, snakes should eat weekly as babies, and twice monthly as adults. So definitely no snakes for this guy! Too high maintenance... Hmmm... I think if even a SNAKE is too high maintenance for someone, they best stick with pet rocks.
It's funny, I see so many "wannabe" kennels bragging about the fact that "Joe Blow the Pro Football Player has gotten such-and-such dog from us".....like that is any indication about the quality of their dogs.
I've found that professional athletes as a group are usually inattentive dog owners, at the very least. Not the ideal type of client in my book.
I don't know how many of you keep up with basketball, but this is the same guy that started the huge brawl with fans in the stands a few years back. Definately not a good example of our species. Sounds like money is a good exuse to stop thinking.
Anyways , I have seen brochure done on breeders' kennels that had pictures of stars they had sold to and little story about each dog that were sold to these stars, yet the dog I saw from that kennel, that this lady had bought for $20000.00 looked like the worse bred Shepherd I had ever seen. But this breeder in L.A sure thinks his dogs are worth lots of $$$$$
I think ROn should not get any more dogs, forget about hiring a Doggie babysitter, he should quit having pets all together. If you ccan't be home to take care of your animals DONT HAVE ANY!

The fact that he admits that one dog dominated the food and he did nothing to ensure that the others would be able to get to food also just says that he doesn't care.
And that he said things went downhill just in the last 7 days???
Could a dog become sking & bones in a matter of 7 days....imagine what would've happened if the neighbour wasn't feeding & watering them through the fence.
Some people, all the money in the world, but not enough sense to take care of animals that can't take care of themselves.
