I went to visit the ridgeback litter today, they're only 5 weeks old. The breeder has it narrowed down to three puppies, but they're too young to tell at this point. Anyway, here are the pictures of the possibilities for my puppy-to-be. There's also a video!
Puppy number 1 - smaller, more energetic than the others
Puppy number 2 - BIG!!! A little sleepy.
No picture of puppy number three...but here's a video! (hopefully it works, i've never done this before...if you click on it it takes you to the site, but i'm not sure if you can see it without logging into photobucket?)

A friend's family had 3 Ridgebacks when we were growing up and they were glorious dogs...majestic, regal, and yes, somewhat intimidating, but really nice, very cool, dogs.
I don't envy you having to make a choice...They are adorable

Do all the pups have ridges? I remember a friend who was a fancier of the breed (years ago) telling me not all pups in a litter will have the ridge & consequently those puppies cost a little less.

This is the breeder's first litter with ridgeless puppies, and there are 4 of them in this litter. They do cost less, but I was hoping to do a little showing. The ridgeback club has this versatility program to encourage participating in a variety of dog sports, and I'm going to participate in that. I've found a local tracking club and obedience club and stuff like that.

I'm really happy for you. I can tell how excited you are about those pups! RR's are such magnificent dogs. They really are quite gorgeous. Isn't it amazing that those cute little wiggly puppy breath creatures will grow into big breathtaking beasties!
Oh & the video works.
They are beautiful, I hope you have tons of fun with your pup, and I wish you lots of success in whatever sport you decide to do with him.I don't know much about the breed but what do you mena about "bridgeless" they all looked to me (and again I know nothing about the breed)like they have the bridge on their back, right?
They are all very cute. Wouldn't you just love to take all 3.
I'm sure the one you pick will be very special. I wish you lots of luck with your new puppy, they are so much fun.

I think I typo'd! All the puppies in the pictures/video I posted have their ridges, but there were a few in the litter that were ridgeless. (By ridge I mean that line of hair running the opposite direction along their back).
I am so incredibly excited! I'm almost positive I'm getting the little guy on my lap in the first picture, he has way more drive than the guy in the second. But they're still very young, and things could change. So we'll see!
