Thanks for all your help so far. I have another question for ya'll. I have been debating breeding my two GSDs together, but can't decide if the pedigrees complement each other enough, or if I should find a stud that would suit my girl better. My two dogs do complement each other in temperment, drive, and structure, but I would like the opinions of other who have been in to the breeding of dogs longer than me. I have been trying to breed GSDs for 10 yrs, and have spayed and neutered dogs that didn't match my standards. This would be my first litter. Both of my dogs have had their Thyroids tested and cleared, my male is OFA hips, Elbows are clear, Eyes are certified. My female just had her Hip x-rays sent to OFA and the vet thinks she will clear good or excellent, Elbows are clear, and I am taking her to get her Eyes cleared. So the health testing is there. I would like some input on the pedigrees. Sorry that the pictures of the my dogs are not very nice, both pics were taken when the dogs were young, I am trying to get new and better ones up there. Thanks. Here are the links.
Well I love this dog on your sires' side http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/2943.html
Look under Kanto VOm firecatchers' pedigree, great dogs!
You have some very nice dogs on both but it's hard not seing your own dogs to really judge. If you look, as far as pedigree goes I can't say that "no" it's not a good match.I looked back as far as I could but I like seing the dogs in question to really give my true opinion, and it's just an opinion, everyone has their own. They look like nice dogs(yours) , pedigree is pretty pretty nice.(I like it alot)You have ruled out some health issue ,I don't see a problem
