I may be posting under the wrong forum, but could surely use some help and guidiance. My 5 yr old high drive GSD gets along great with my two daughters (3 & 8 mo) The problem is stealing food from the 8mo year old in the high chair who is learning how to eat solids. I had no clue how much a dog can love cherrios! I do not remember this being a problem at all with our first daughter. Any suggestions?
Well for us we had to use a harsher method, we used the e-collar for that on all of our dogs. That is something I will not allow for a second. If I were you I would either crate and if you know anything about using an E-collar use it.
Thank you all for your response. I do crate my dog to solve the problem. I was looking for other suggestions. I have thought about the e-collar. I have been somewhat lax in the obedience end durring feeding time. That can be corrected quickly. Thanks agin
