is pedigree a good source of food to feed your dog? i want to use a good quality food for him but not to sure what food i should go for, and he a fussy eater so what dry foods are good and what stuff do i need to stay away from? i was on bakers but aparently i should avoid that stuff like the plague
Raw feeding by far is the best option, however, if you're looking for dry you need to purchase the best product you can. Here are a couple of links for you to read. Then start looking at the ingredients in the food you're considering. Keep in mind, corn can be a major allergen along with wheat etc.
I agree with one dog to feed, Raw is so simple.Less stool for you to pick up , and they potty no that long after they eat and it's done they don't have to go 4 times (or more) a day the way kibble fed dogs do.here is a link that might help you get strted or simply read up on it and see your options.I know at first it sounds like alot of work or complicated but it's pretty simple. You can find alot of support here on this board to get you started if you choose to go raw.here is the link: http://www.njboxers.com/faqs.htm
My only concern is the main ingredient isn't meat. I'm not an authority, but if this is the best you can find, I'd supplement by adding more meat. I'm sure others will add to the post with their great opinions and suggestions. =)
