Has anyone heard of Eagle Pack brand dog food? It seems to be new around here. It's made in the US but has labels in both English and French. Anyone try it and what were the results? Thanks
For what it's worth, my two cats get Eagle Pack... But there are better and cheaper dry foods for dogs. There are probably better and cheaper foods for cats too, but I just kept mine on what the breeder was feeding.
Eagle Pack is not a BAD food, but it is pricey for the fact that it contains some questionable ingredients in terms of what I want to feed. It's neither the best in terms of quality nor in terms of value, so I don't see much positive to it. Typically when feeding a dry food you would either want to give the BEST QUALITY (cost isn't an object) or you want to balance cost and quality.
If you're looking for a very cheap but surprisingly high quality for the price food, Nutro Natural Choice is pretty good and was the honest to goodness CHEAPEST of the foods I'd be willing to consider feeding my pets. It's also available just about everywhere so that makes it convenient. For quality at a bit of a higher price, I like Innova (especially the EVO if cost isn't an object) and Canidae is a nice balance of cost and quality.
Hi Kevin,
I know a person in the Illinois area who is a rep and distributor for Eagle pack. She is quite knowledgable and easy to contact. PM me your addy and I'll put you in contact.
Cheers
Michelle
