If you do Carlin, people will always ask you if he was named after the comedian! I have read that dogs quickly recognize a hard K sound, and for that reason it's a sound to have starting off your dog's name (for quick name-learning). Probably doesn't make much of a difference, but I thought I'd throw that out there. I also like Caelan (pronounced Kay-lin)...Gaelic for strength. You're little girl is SOOOOOOO cute it almost hurts your eyes to look at her. You must be getting pretty excited! Carbon

And one of my SAR buddies suggested Cadaver call name CAD....ha ha It's a black humor thing.... You are correct about hard consenants (sp), they are good for getting a dogs attention.
