A early neutered male is as loving, cuddly and kind as any outgoing "go with the flow" female. If the male is not neutered early and its testicles drop, it typically becomes a dog that will roam and have more of a mind of its own. This instinct tends to over power the family member calling the dog to come, it will come but hesitates or plays that come and get me game. We recommend strongly that males be neutered by a laser surgeon early, as early as 8 to 16 weeks. If your vet is not a laser surgeon. Neutering removes the possibility of the male ever entering its time of confrontation, asserting its manliness and results it a great, loving, listening dog. The neutered male dog also seems to have less separation anxiety than a female and be more open to new experiences. An early neutered, trained male is a fantastic labradoodle, 100% wonderful open and ready for anything!
These idiots are nothing but back yard breeders. They know nothing of either of the breed they're mixing together, worse yet they don't care about either breed as its own BREED. They don't even have good representatives of the breeds that they're mating together.
A designer dog is really nothing more than a mixed breed. There are plenty of mixed breeds in shelters. These people are just idiots who happen to have 2 different breed dogs, pets, and decide to start something. Come up with a catchy little name for what they so proudly hail as a new breed, to entice the ignorant and those who rely on trends to define who they are. They do it for money, cashing in on the idiots who buy these dogs. Now these same idiots are putting the GSD into their perverted little plans.
What reasonable lover of the GSD wants a GSD washed down with a poodle? That's what is so sad...that anyone who doesn't love the GSD for all its qualities yet has one sickens me. These people don't love the breed. They'd sell the GSD out for a buck.
Maybe they would make good police dogs since the criminal would probably fall down laughing hysterically at the sight.
I hope this idiotic fad of creating mutts and calling them breeds ends soon, but it won't as long as idiots are willing to pay big bucks and there are unscrupulous people willing to sell to them. You can only try to educate people and be thankful for the ones that listen and learn.
