Hi,
Ok. In person, I have to say Dino von der Maineiche.
He is retired and his owner is a member of our club. A few weeks ago, Dino came in and Chris let him work for about one minute, to say that was an impressive minute is an understatement.
I mentioned this to my friend who is really, really into schutzhund and she told me he was one of the top dogs in his day.
So, last week I asked Chris if he wouldn't mind working him. He happily indulged me and worked him in obedience and protection. All I have to say is, if that is what he looks like at 9 years plus - I can't imagine what he was like when he had "spring in his step".

I saw Chris Carr & his dog at the New England(North East) Regionals in Rhode Island in 2005 in the SchH III conpetition. I saw the obedience & protection pieces. He is a nice dog. I was going to train with Chris before he decided to stay full time in NJ & not CT. Too bad, I would have liked to do some training with him.
