most of the ones i have seen by this company are rubbish but the pets pantry hi life dog food seems a good choice. esp he on butchers at moment. the pets pantry ingredients are
Ingredients
Chicken & Turkey (in variable proportions min. 26%), Pork, Flour, Minerals. Contains EEC permitted colourants.
Sorry Toni this is not a dog food we would ever recommend. No dog needs flour and colourants.
You would be better advised to refer to the list of all-natrual dog food that we list on my web site. Refer to that article in my list of training articles.
im trying to find a high meat based wet food with NO cereals, flour, colours, deretives.
this is the closest thing i found yet, although im considering a raw diet is feeding two complete foods a good idea or will it unbalance it? i thought since there is such a lack of meat in the kibble put more meat into it? is this a good idea for arguements sake x
Toni, I personally don't think that you'll be able to find anything better than raw. But if you want convienience and you want to stay away from kibble, and you want AAFCO certification (or whatever is comparable in your country...you're not in the States, right?) then you might want to try the premade patties that are delivered frozen, if you can locate them there. I would imagine that even if you don't have the brands sold in the States, that there must be something similar where you are.
Otherwise, just stick to the foods listed on Ed's site that he mentioned. He's done all the work for you in weeding out the weak among dog foods.
Toni - this is the 2nd or 3rd time you have posted the exact same thing in 2 different forums. I have asked you nicely not to do this.
Now I am telling you the next time you do it will be the last time you post on my web board. Can I be any more direct that that? You need to understand that this is not acceptable? This is you last warning.
