he even eats it out my hand
A lot of dogs eat grass.
If it affects him (vomiting or poop issues), then I would use "no" or "leave it."
If the grass is treated with chemicals, I wouldn't let him eat it.
I myself would probably consider adding greens to his diet.

it just makes me laugh as he only does it if im picking grass or weeding, i occasionally feed him veg but he is not too keen.
i am thinking of juicing some veg but how would i get him to eat it? and the grass has no chemicals or nothing on it x
Mix a little bit with his RMBs and meat.
Most dogs I know like a little produce. (I have had a couple who like it a LOT and will eat blueberries before liver. :grin The one or two I have had who did not, ate it fine if it was with the meat.
That is a nice link to a good explanation Connie. My dog was just eating some grass yesterday in our back yard. I guess she just likes it from time to time.
Add some green tripe to your dogs diet and you'll see the grass eating will diminish and he will NOT throw it up....And it will add all the benefits a dog needs to digest the food you feed.....
Connie, you know I had to add my green tripe statement ...
