And it's been great, but I still have a few questions, please help:
1: Will the saw meat and bones I feed my dog make give him worms?
He was de-wormed when he was younger, but I'm worried the worms will come back.
2: Anyone feed there dogs Garlic? I have been doing this for about a year, because my friend told be the smell can help keep flea's away. Good idea or bad?
3: Greens, what kind of veggies do you feed your dogs? Or is this even a good idea? I'v heard from some people, the dogs need some greens, and other people say no they don't. Any ideas?
1 - My dog has never had worms since being on a fully raw diet. She did get worms while on kibble.
2 - I used to feed garlic, but don't any longer because supposedly dogs shouldn't have it. Search for garlic to see some discussions on this on leerburg. Either way I am still up in the air on this subject.
3 - I give my dog some greens about 3-4 days a week. This includes whatever I have in the house, like broccoli, celery, carrots, spinach, greenbeans, cucumbers, cranberries, apples (seriously anything I have in the house). I just blend it in a mini processor whenever I am going to feed it to her, it only takes about a minute to prepare.
