I asked this question before, except the bumps were on his underside and I think they were just hotspots because after spraying some medication that I had left over they went away.
However there are 2 gray colored bumps on either side of my dogs penis. (so 4 total) The 2 on the right side are in the exact same place as the 2 on the left side. Is this normal? When I touch them they don't seem to irritate him at all. And it is weird because they are in the exact same place on either side! I was trying to look at photos of other german shepherds to see if all gsd's had them, but I could not see.
Can someone please tell me if this is just normal or what it potentially could be?

Hi Matthew, It's hard to say without more info. How old is he?
I'm paranoid so I go to the vet if I have any doubts. If they look like they are inflamed or change much in a couple of days, I would take him in for a check. Sorry I can't help more.

I would ask a vet. Sometimes spots are nothing but if it is the wrong kind of cancer it can spread quickly and you'd be kicking yourself for not getting it checked out earlier. My vet charges $36 for an office visit which is cheap for my peace of mind!

Yeah, not to sound stupid, but if you've never looked down there, you might not have noticed that even the boys have 2 rows of distinct nipples that go all the way back to the groin - a few of them are just above the penis sheath itself... much easier to see on a shorthaired dog.
Otherwise, I'd have your vet take a look - just to be safe...
