I got mine several days ago. I absolutely love it. Most incredible book, explains everything IN DETAIL as well as gives solutions if things don't go exactly according to plan during a training session.
The theory provided in the beginning is IMO flawless and explained in detail. Very important to me as I like to know the why of everything, why and how something works. This is one of the most crucial aspects of learning for me, if the why isn't explained, I don't retain it. I love this book.
I bought a highlighter after reading a couple of pages. Only problem is, I want to highlight EVERYthing, and have been . Then I read it over and over. There's so much information that I'm afraid something will be missed. So the reading isn't going quickly at this point
I had the temptation to read ahead to the actual training pages but tempered that and am so glad I did because the beginning chapters are the theory and explanation that pertains to every chapter on specific commands. So don't jump ahead, it's vital to read from page one

I will crack mine tonight as I just got done reading, highlighting and tagging pages in the Aggression in Dogs book. That one was pretty good too.
I now notice little tiny things my dogs do to each other when out playing ball. the little brats
I guess I need a refillable highlighter....
Sandy, thanks for adding the full name....I should have done that.
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
I got them yesterday, I have to say that it is the easiest book I have EVER read on training.Very nice and detail but easy to follow.
Not that i am an idiot , but I do like techniques in detail and simple at the same time, especially through reading and not seing..I love the one about the fast retrieve, I have done that method and it is the best IMO. Anyone that has a dog with drives will get a fast retrieve doing it the way the book explains, easy to follow and so easy to do...Yuko, your book is coming leaving Saturday, I expect AJA to be Schutzhund 1 level by the age of 2!!
