Hi all,
I started my clan on kelp /alfalfa and I mixed 1lb of each together and have been mixing 2 ts with their glop every day, is this about the right amount or should I add more?
My dogs range from 65 pounds to 80 pounds
thanks again
Mike

1/8 tsp for small dogs
1/4 tsp for medium dogs
1/2 tsp for large dogs
per day.
This is what is on Leerburgs bags so I am not sure if you have a different "variety" but I would back them off. I give kelp and alfalfa every other day.

I know I bought a boat-load about a year ago, mixed it all together, sprinkled it in with my dogs' food, and was real proud of myself. However, my dogs wouldn't go near their food when they smelled it. I tried mixing it in with everything I could think of - no luck. Now I can't remember where I put the bucket or why I even gave it to them in the first place.
Thanks
I bought Leerburg brand...
but I had read the natural nutrition book by Kymythy Schultze
where in it she had suggested to feed 2 Tsp for 50 lb dog and 1 TBL to a 100 pound dog but in mixing it it looked like alot to me...
Anyhow, since I mixed the kelp and alfalfa together should I give just a 1/2 tsp or 1?

I would do a 1/2 a tsp of each. Most of my dogs weigh around 56 to 60 pounds and I give the large dog amount.
My BH weighs in at 90 and he gets the large dog amount also. The pups are at 35 so they get the medium amount.
