Would any of you have done some research on the average protein content (percentage) of a daily ration RAW diet? Moreso, is a RAW diet essentially a HIGH PROTEIN, LOW CARB diet? With this being true, would the dog's kidney be ok processing a high amount of protein? Your insight would be most appreciated!

Hi, John, There is no way to state protein content without having an exact list of what the raw diet consisted of. In general, though, unless the raw diet was significantly different from the raw diet suggested, say, on the Leerburg site, or fed by the raw feeders I know, then yes, it's low in carbohydrates.
