My husband and I will be taking a 5 day vacation this summer and my daughter will be staying at our home taking care of our 2 GSD's. I am trying to make the feeding process as easy as possible for her and plan to package and freeze each day's meals (raw diet). Is it OK to put the supplements (Salmon oil, Vit. E, Vit. C) in prior to freezing? I usually pierce the oil and E caps and squeeze them onto the food and crush the Vit. C as my 2 brats will eat everything and leave the vitamins if I put them in whole. Just wondering if freezing would hurt the effectiveness of the supplements.

Fish oil and E both deteriorate rapidly on exposure to light and air.
My feeling is that if they were going to be forgotten otherwise, I'd do what you're considering. Otherwise, the best thing is not to pierce and squeeze in advance.
However, since you are freezing them immediately, and presumably serving them soon after thawing, my feeling is that it will all be fine even if you do it the way you're considering, and that the worst case would be some loss of Omega 3 potency (if any) during the thawing process.
It's heat and light that wreak the most havoc with fresh oils and with Vitamin C.
P.S. When I had a dogsitter here at a time when one dog was on meds, I set up a container on the counter that had several small ones inside, each labeled with a day. (Obsessive much? But I thought that made it a lot easier on someone who didn't have the ingrained habit, and had other things to worry about.... )
Thanks, Connie. My husband says to just not worry about it and have her toss them a large turkey neck each day. They would probably be fine but I am also "obsessive much" about my dogs' diet. It's all I can do to make myself leave out the green tripe for 5 days worth of meals. My daughter says she draws the line there
