I am wondering what are good options for a long term boarding situation. My parents house had a big fire and they cant live there for awhile. They have a 7mo old GSD. She would have to be boarded for 30-50 days, depending on when the house is finished. I cant keep her here long term as it is too many dogs to deal with for more than short term and we would be over our legal limit. I already tried family/friends and no one can take her in.
Is board and train any good, just so she has something to do? I guess we dont really care if it transfers over, it is just something to keep her entertained a bit if she will be kenneled for so long.
Does anyone know any decent board and train places near the twin cities?
Does anyone have any other ideas on what we could do with her? I really wish she were a retriever so we could send her off to gun dog training.
Thanks.
