I don't seem to be able to find the Sch Ob Training in Drive post that started with the auction a while back.
I would love to be able to find out how everyone is liking it, and making out with various goals. Wish I would have had this book when my dog was a pup
I am sure it is not too late for me I also just realized that it is Sch ob comps follow a pattern. That explains a lot.
It takes a little longer to figure this stuff out if you have only seen Sch on TV a couple of times and you have a retreiver
I have trained moslty with toys, but am giving food a try again. We have been in a rut for a while I'm afraid

Jennifer, you are SO right! It is NOT too late for you or your dog. Rest assured that if your dog has sufficient prey drive, you two will be able to enjoy the sport.
It's always a good idea to try new things with your dog. Retreivers are a type of "work" dog, and enjoy doing THINGS with their owner. Go out, try some ob work, and you may be surprised at the things your dog teaches you.
