Seems like it will be some training, nutrition and health information seminar. I am very curious to know about this raw feeding company that will be there plus the doggy cpr will be great to learn.

The Paw Playgroup is hosted by SPA de PAW. Playgroups are beneficial to assist your fur baby in developing social skills and many more benefits that are too great in length to include at this time.
A playgroup is being organized for Saturday, June 16, 2007 with a rain date for the following Saturday. The time is from noon to 2 pm. The residential location is XXXXXX Philadelphia, PA 19116. This is a backyard fenced in grassy area approximately 2000 sq ft. This means the dogs can be off leash safely. There will be complimentary refreshments and treats for the dogs as well as a free professional training demo for you to enjoy.
http://www.VMDPetFood.com products will also be present to provide you with free information on the health and care of your dog. This will include information on what is and is not healthy for your fur baby. With the recent food recalls, concerns and awareness of what we are feeding are loved ones is necessary for their safety. Red Cross will also be present to provide DOG CPR information and tips. All this is absolutely FREE!
I hope to provide the best play and education time for our pets. It is necessary to register in order to limit the amount of dogs so there is enough space to romp around freely without frustration. In addition, the registration helps us organize properly for the amount of complimentary refreshments and dog treats. So far, there are approximately 10-15 dogs registered and we are still taking registrations at this time.
This is very exciting and will be lots of fun, fun, fun! I am pleased to extend the invitation and look forward to meeting you. If for any reason, you are not able to attend the playgroup, please let us know ASAP so I am able to give your spot to another interest.

Looks like VMD is a distributor for Aunt Jeni, Bravo, and Honest Kitchen. All three are good products. ANY group that encourages health and nutrition through raw feeding is worth meeting once, IMO.
The off-leash playgroup kind of sounds like "dog park" to me. Given what I've read here, I'd be a little leery of that.
