My husband and I are wanting to build a kennel for our dogs very soon, like within the next couple of weeks. We decided to go with wrought iron since one of our dogs has turned into Houdini and has managed to destroy the chain link fence to an existing dog kennel we have now and escape. We want to add some sort of system that will allow us to wash feces and urine into a type of cistern but aren't quite sure how to go about it. I looked at Ed's example but can't seem to figure out if he has some sort of septic that the water and waste drains into after he lifts the pipe. The water is going somewhere. Anyone else have a sewage system built into their kennel that perhaps we can borrow ideas from? Any input will be appreciated.
We plan to pour a new concrete floor if this helps.
Thanks,
Kristina
