Would anybody like to share what they pay to train their dog? What it costs to train with a club or what they pay to go to a personal trainer. No names or anything, nothing personal about any trainers just a ball park Idea of what's charged.
I pay approximately $50-$60 per one day session. That is for individual work with an experienced helper/trainer in all three categories of schutzhund training.
Hey Steve, we don't really pay anything on a "per session" with our club, but we have club dues which are about $150/yr depending on how many dogs you are training. Also, you don't have to, but I volunteered to do helper work to learn and also payback the help I get. We also all take turns pulling the club trailer to/from practice. We practice twice a week and use the trailer once a week.

Thanks Alex, thats not too expensive either. I think I'm at a point where I've done all I can on my own and with the classes I went to in the past so I'm deciding between 3 options where to go with Andy.
Wow! Must be nice! Our summers are pretty dang hot & dry, so we train at 6 pm 1 day and start tracking at 6 am on Saturday to be done by 10-11 am (track/obd/prot). During the winter, I've been told , as long as there is no risking the dog's health, we train no matter what the conditions.
