There is a certain posture and look that I have seen a lot - both in rehabbing rescue terriers and on TV shows on Animal Planet. There was one time I found myself yelling at the TV to back off the dog or the guy was going to be bitten....
Dogs tilt their head a little, slant it kind of away from the person/dog, arch necks a little and cut their eyes at them... You see a "white slice" and it is an almost certain sign of an impending bite if the other party does not back off.
I desperately need to locate a photo, video or really good sketch of this for use only in my role as a volunteer foster home mentor....
Has anyone seen one ? I know people reading this are likely familiar with the posture I am talking about.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks Janice.... I have one more at home too that someone on my terrier list had taken. The best one is the one entitled "Freeze" on the living with kids webpage. If only we could see the dog's eyes, we would see it giving the people the look I mean.
Thanks again
