Hi Krystina, I know absolutley nothing about Giant Schnauzers, but there has been some discussion of them on this board in the past. You can go here: http://www.leerburg.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/postlist/Board/89/page/1
Or use the Search and look for Giant Schnauzer to get topics specifically about them.
Thanks Janice...There were some interesting posts.
I think the guy that gave her to me is going to be sorry....she was given to me because she wouldn't bite the helper at a protection dog company. Based on what I have been finding out that is not uncommon so let's see what she does.
Right now I am focused on getting her socialized since she has been at an indoor kennel facility since she was a puppy and she is coming up on two years old.
Hi Krystina,
I have seen nice working Schnauzers over in SLovakia as well. I guess it depends, do your research and look for a good breeder in Czech or Slovakia.. these dogs are nice dogs to work with. I know that we have one 10 yr old GS in Boise and that sucker crashes sleeves and he is just a nice dog, you would never guess that he is 10 Yrs old.
Personaly I do not know any GS breeders over there, I just have seen some nice dogs born in former Czechoslovakia.. they also come in "pepper colour" but they are still working dogs. If you want me to I can find out where the 10 yr old came from. All I know is that he was imported from Germany.
